The Holidays are here!

December 13th marks the official release of the Winter Wonderland’s patch for Overwatch.

The Overwatch team did a lot more for this holiday event than the Halloween one. For Winter Wonderland we have two maps that have a winter make-over: King’s Row and Hanamura.

They decked the halls of the Arcade mode and added in “Mei’s Snowball Offensive”, which plays very similar to a typical snowball fight. The biggest difference is it’s a rather deadly snowball fight, where getting hit by just a single snowball means death. You’re armed with only a single snowball, and if you miss, you’ll have to run and find the nearest snowball pile to “reload”. The reload effect is not instant and you have to spend a few seconds waiting for it to reload. Ultimates also do not reset between rounds, and Mei’s Ultimate is different in that it gives her unlimited snowballs to use for its duration.

Similar to Halloween, there’s a group set of victory poses for our heroes, but instead of it being the whole cast, it’s Ana, Pharah, Reinhardt, Soldier76, and Torbjorn who all share the same “Toast” pose available for 225 coins, or a luck of RNG. D.Va and Mercy received their own victory poses, but they’re stand alones; D.Va with “Festive” for 225, and Mercy with “Mistletoe” for 225.

Three heroes received emotes: Mei with “Snowman” for 750 coins, McCree with “Hat Trick” for 750, and Zarya with “Mystery Gift” for 3,000 coin! Zarya’s emote is special, she has a 1:3 chance to pull out of a present – a toy robot, a stuffed bear, or an endless supply of gift boxes inside one another.

For our Winter Wonderland only two heroes received highlight intros: Symmetra with “Snowflakes” for 750 coins, and Widowmaker with “Under the Mistletoe” for 750 coins.

Last, but definitely not least, our favorite – the skins! 12 heroes received Winter Wonderland skins!

The Epic skins consists of:

All for 750 coins each.

The Legendary skins consists of:

All for 3000 coins each.

Winter’s practically here for some countries, try to keep warm in the frigid cold! Maybe you could stay inside and grind out levels in Overwatch for loot boxes~.
