BlizzCon Benefit Dinner

If you’re looking for a chance to join the celebration and help out a good cause at the same time, we’re holding a special BlizzCon Benefit Dinner the night before the show on Thursday, November 2 in support of Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Attendees will have a chance to talk games, swap stories, and share a drink or two with Blizzard developers and community representatives, and Blizzard will donate the net proceeds to the hospital. A limited number of tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 12 at 7:00 p.m. PDT, priced at $750 each—visit the Charity Ticket page for more information.

Virtual Ticket – Coming Soon!

If you can’t make it to the show in person, you’ll still have a chance to join the celebration from home with the BlizzCon Virtual Ticket, which will provide live streaming coverage to viewers around the world. Stay tuned for more details.

Check out the BlizzCon Event Info page for lots more information on prepping for the show and the upcoming ticket sales, and visit the Universe ticket page at the dates and times above to buy tickets to the show.

Look for more information on the events and activities at BlizzCon as the show approaches. Good luck snagging tickets, and we’ll see you in November!

Along the same lines, Blizzard also announced incoming changes for the convention contests. They have not yet released details but we’re sure to hear more within the next coming weeks!

After 10 years of BlizzCon—and 10 years of contests—we’re taking a fresh look at our approach to BlizzCon contests. We’re considering some new approaches to how we handle things, and are taking another look at our contests’ structure and format at the show. Ultimately, our goal is to celebrate and showcase you guys the best way possible.

What does this mean for our contestants, you ask? Right now, nothing. Right now we can tell you the Costume Contest is still incoming, so feel free to start crafting away! In the coming weeks however, we will be announcing a few tweaks, and just wanted to give you all a heads up as soon as possible.

Thank you again for continuing to make BlizzCon so very special with all your incredible talents. It’s all of your who make BlizzCon something we look forward to year after year, and can’t wait to see what you create this year!
